EPB is seeking an internet security software solution that delivers a comprehensive, value-added cybersecurity service for residential and commercial broadband customers. The solution should provide always-on protection for devices, data, and online activity, with real-time defense against viruses, malware, ransomware, spyware, phishing, and other emerging cyber threats. EPB requires a platform that supports multi-device protection in home/business and out of home/business across PCs, Macs, smartphones, and tablets under a simple licensing model, enabling customers to secure their digital lives with ease. The solution should be user-friendly, scalable, and capable of supporting EPB’s large broadband customer base while enhancing the overall customer experience and security posture.

Overhead to Underground Conversion - Area 7

RFP-16163

EPB is seeking proposals from qualified electrical contractors to provide full turnkey services for converting approximately (6) miles of overhead electric power lines to underground infrastructure. The selected contractor will be responsible for managing and scheduling all work, coordinating flagging operations, maintaining active 1-call notifications, and working closely with EPB on material pulls, customer outages, and conflict resolution. This project is supported by a Department of Energy GRIP grant, and all labor must comply with Davis-Bacon wage requirements. The goal is to enhance grid resilience and reliability through strategic undergrounding efforts.

Customer-grade WiFi Router

RFP-16159

EPB is seeking a best-in-class WiFi 7 router mesh access point solution that is compatible with Plume's Opensync protocol. While WiFi 7 hardware is a requirement, vendors are encouraged to also respond with non-WiFi 7 solutions in addition. Proposals may include a custom or existing solution which meets EPB's requirements and specifications.
