EPB is seeking proposals from qualified electrical contractors to provide full turnkey services for converting approximately (1.8) miles of overhead electric power lines to underground infrastructure. The selected contractor will be responsible for managing and scheduling all work, coordinating flagging operations, maintaining active 1-call notifications, and working closely with EPB on material pulls, customer outages, and conflict resolution. This project is supported by a Department of Energy GRIP grant, and all labor must comply with Davis-Bacon wage requirements. The goal is to enhance grid resilience and reliability through strategic undergrounding efforts.
