EPB Fiber Optics (EPB) is seeking to implement a DERMS solution to assist in managing our growing fleet of energy storage and distributed generation systems. The DERMS solution would need to be tightly integrated with EPB’s existing SCADA system through which all DER assets are currently monitored and controlled. The DERMS solution will also need to be integrated with applications that EPB will use for managing in-home devices as well as EV charging.

EPB currently has dedicated Spanish speaking representatives and utilizes a third-party service for interpretation outside of traditional business hours and for other needed languages. EPB is looking to gain customer satisfaction and efficiency by utilizing AI in addition to traditional translation services.

One of the single phase power transformers at EPB's Moccasin Substation in Chattanooga failed recently. EPB is seeking proposals for the rewind and repair of this transformer.
